IT Laziness

Im Programor
Im Programar
Im Progarmmor
I Write Code!!

Yes folks, I mean it. Though I am in this same designation from the past three years (now this is altogether a different story), I can't spell the word of my designation, the "Programmer" (hopefully correct! didn't give a red underline).

Don't blame my teachers at my school. They did their cent and even I had put up my cent (may be more....hehehe) in my schooling days. The problem started in the recent past.

For sure, this IT industry has brought a lot of change. I don't know how much is that positive, but one among a lot of negatives is this problem. By the way, what should I name this problem?

Should I say it lack of grammar sense -- does not seem apt.
The so called famous dialog in IT industry "Lack of communication skills" -- Damn, it has nothing to do with communication.
May be I can name it something like "IT Laziness" -- Yeah, seems logical.

Don't get surprised as what this laziness has to do with wrong spelling. The problem here is not just a wrong spelling, more than that, a lot more. Adding to the sedentary working style, every ITer or ITian develops a hidden laziness in due course of time. We, software geeks, get used to auto word completions, spell checks, audio tutorials etc which make our life easy. But we forget that we are forgetting our basics.

How many of us carry a pen with us (though you may always have a laptop with you, at many times you will need a pen! Because many processes on this earth are not digitalized yet, they are still paper worked.)? How many of us use our brains to do some simple math rather than use calc in Run? How many of us confidently send a mail with out a spell check?

Its been three years now for me in this industry. This IT Laziness is at its peak with in me. I doubt I forgot how my hand writing looks like...Damn how pathetic!

Im back....Again!

Hello World!
Damn! Dont mistake these Greetings, Its not any sample Java Program. I just want to greet all my blog followers (I doubt if any) and my blog itself, after a pretty long gap.

Its been a year and half that I had hit this page. Believe me, Blogger seemed strange. There has been many changes in its functionalities and settings. It took me time to start with....Yaaak!

I dont think that I need to re-introduce my self. Blogger is intelligent enough to identify me correctly (though after a long gap). But for all those Gajinis, Im Sreeks, a medium sized sheep in the flock of software geeks.

And the word software, reminds me of my work life! This sheep flock, I was talking earlier, consists of some millions of sheep and each sheep is owned by some one. Now the tragedy is that each sheep considers that it is providing as much wool as it can, to its owner and the owner is not feeding it with sufficient grass. The sheep has the liberty to pick its own owner by letting know the present owner well in advance that it is going to make a shift. With certain owners, the well in advance notice can be as much as 3 months also. Me, a medium sized sheep in this same flock with some owner (who cares), has the same thought process.

If you consider the same scenario from owner's perspective, the owner is always jealous of the his peer competitors. These owners lure the sheep of others owners with hybrid grass. These sheep who are starving for normal grass itself, smell the hybrid as heaven and fall out for tactics.

Hey folks, this story is just pure bullshit. I am not concerned if this resemble your work life. All the characters in the above story are purely fictitious. Any thing resembling to anyone or anybody is absolutely coincidental, unintentional and not intended to hurt any moral. Just to make sure....

Being narrated this short story, you have got me correct and sensed my present situations. Lot of things have been changed in due course of time. I am one more year older now. Technically grew strong in my competencies. Priorities in my career advancement are changed (I need to say that) and I am bit more clear now. I am just standing behind the door waiting for the opportunity to knock it. And mom says to get married!

There is lot much more going on there days..Stay tuned...I swear, I will be in touch!
